DKP System Aims

Aims of the DKP system;

  • To quickly distribute loot
  • Easy to administer system any Officer can use.
  • To fairly reward members.

How the DKP System Works

The Nemetos Order DKP ( Dragon Kill Points ) system is based on a Bidding system. You earn DKP for killing bosses and can then spend this by Bidding against other Guild members for items. Only Epic + Legendary Items and the ZG Idols are charged DKP for. All other items are rolled for or disenchanted with other loot such as ZG coins or essences being collected for the Guild bank.

Earning DKP

Each encounter offers a DKP reward. Encounters are listed below in a 4 tiered system:

  1. New Encounters - New encounter we are learning. DKP time bonus used + 25 DKP for successfully completing encounter.
  2. Experienced Encounter - Once an Encounter is cleared. Time bonus is removed for following attempts. 25 DKP awarded.
  3. Normal Enounters Once an Encounter is cleared and the final boss killed more then 5 times the encounter is classified as on "farm status". No time bonus and 15 DKP boss value.
  4. Mastered Encounters - Once these Encounters have been Mastered (20+ kills or 6+ months since first kill). The reward is reduced to 5 DKP without time-bonus.
  • Bosses - Dungeon bosses are awarded +5 for added difficulty.

Time-based bonus

A bonus of 8 DKP every 10 minutes is automatically awarded to Raid members DKP totals. The idea behind this was to reward people who attend New Encounters that don't end in a boss kill.

Bidding Rules

You can bid whatever you want so long as you have enough DKP to cover the minimun bid. For example;

  • You have 424 DKP in an Gruul's Lair Raid. You can bid betweem 150 and 424.
  • You have 150 DKP in a Gruul's Lair Raid. You can only bid 150 DKP.
  • You have -245 DKP in a Gruul's Lair Raid. You can only bid 150 DKP.

In the event of a tie. The item is award to the person with the highest overall DKP.

Minimum Bids

All items have a 150 DKP minimum bid. A bidding system naturally establishes how much an item is worth so therefore there is no maximum bid.

Legendary & Rare Items

Legendary & Rare items are being rewarded to the Guilds Officers and members with the Veteran rank. Our intention is not to allow these items to leave the Guild because of the significant effort they take by the Guild to acquire. We have no wish to see these purchased for DKP by someone who is likely to consider leaving the Guild in the future.

In the case of Thunderfury. The first binding is awarded to whoever wins the bidding. The second binding is awarded to the person with the first binding for min bid regardless of who else bids.

For Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian. When the first part of the Staff drops bidding will be opened. The winner will be awarded the item and get the other 41 pieces award free. A priority list will be made. Whoever won the first bid will be awarded first refusal on all other pieces. If they don't want/need a part bidding will be opened to determine who is second on the priority list.

Bidding on items

When RaidUI is running each time an item drops an auction is automatically started by the Master Looter. The auction will look something like

Whisper Irricas to bid on Judgement Bindings, "/w Irricas Bid 1 <Bid>"
Whisper Irricas to bid on Bracelets of Wrath, "/w Irricas Bid 2 <Bid>"

To bid you should replace the item number you want to bid on (1 or 2 in this example). Followed by a <bid> so 150 minimum in this example. Which would look something like the following if I wanted the Bracelets of Wrath

/w Irricas bid 2 150

Awarding items

A Priority check is performed on items to make sure the item is going to the most suitable person.

  • Main Characters have higher priority over alts.
  • Alts have a higher priority over Trailists.

Applying common sense is done so items which are better suitable to another class for raid purposes are awarded to that class. A Class leader can overrule the awarding of an item won by in this class if they believe the item can be better used by another class or person. Orlanna also reserves the right to overrule on items.

RaidUi

RaidUI is a clever DKP mod which automates everything in game and exports the information to a webpage.

Checking your DKP

You can view your DKP by visiting http://www.raidui.com/raidcgi/raidviewer.php?user=Nemetos&system=Default or check in game during a Raid by querying the Master Looter running RaidUI. RaidUI updates in real-time so is always up to date.

RaidUi commands

  • raidpoints - Shows your DKP score
  • raidpoints <playername> - Shows someone else's raid points
  • raidhelp - Shows these commands and more
  • pointslist <class> - Shows the raidpoints for the enitre class. Put the class in singular form (hunter, shaman, rogue etc)

To use these send the Officer who is the Master Looter;

/w Irricas <command>
